Hello! The classic chiropractic explanation of the subluxation has always seemed a bit questionable to me. I know that a nerve can become pinched between two back bones, but is that all there is to it? All through my years in chiropractic college, I looked and questioned and searched. As I approached graduation, someone told me about Dr. DeJarnette and Sacro Occipital Technic. I went to the Omaha convention that fall and found the answer to my questions. I have been going back every year since. Here is the factor that was missing. In school, I was never told the nature of the nerve flow that was being stopped. What exactly is the primary healing controlling dynamic of the body? How does this flow start, how is it distributed through the body, what factors can stop or alter it? This is a vital part of the chiropractic and I found the answers in Sacro Occipital Technic, Chiropractic Craniopathy and Chiropractic Manipulative Reflex Technic. Dr. DeJarnette carried out scientific research into chiropractic and the health of man for 60 years, starting in 1925 when he graduated from Chiropractic College until his death in 1992. He recorded his research notes in a series of books and charts. These records total about 150 copyrighted documents. Dr. DeJarnette never intended his work to be the end of research into chiropractic. He saw it as only a beginning. But, in order to begin with what is known to be true and move ahead, one has to study and understand what has been found. In order to do that, all of Dr. DeJarnette's works have to be available. Over the years, many, many of Dr. DeJarnette books and charts have gone out of print. This vital research record was in danger of being lost, and was not available for those inquisitive minds that chose to look at it. Since I could see the danger in this situation, it became my responsibility to do something about it. By a series of fortuitous occurrences and timely actions, a number of Dr. DeJarnette's books and sums of money were available. I took those things and put them together and have succeeded in reproducing a significant number of Dr. DeJarnette books in a searchable data base. These scannings can also be printed on an as needed basis as a reasonable cost. This website lists the results so far. I offer it to you as my contribution to the health of mankind and the chiropractic profession. The fact that this much has been done, does not absolve you of your responsibility. All well intentioned men and women have a duty to themselves and others to promote and make known the truth. Your help in this endeavor is welcomed. Signed, |
